Technology's Impact on Jobs and Skills level in People: An Unequal Playing Field?

A case in point on technology's impact on everyday life beyond the life sciences, military defence and food security. Let us look at Uber here. There are a variety of case studies here to choose from but do not forget the underlying concerns that drive the discussion, as shown in the niche essay questions that follow-

On a more practical level, job security, business competition, public safety and even communication skills have been flagged as hot-button issues, depending on context. More case studies to consider below. The first 2 are very succinct but the fourth  article (though a little lengthy) packs in amazing insights about technology from porno to Al Qaeda! Drop it if you find reading long papers repulsive. Sigh.

Regardless of preferences, they don't get themselves drowned in the details that follow. That's what I like about them-

All these are mere examples and have yet to be transformed into arguments. How would past MRs on  similar range of questions help you to utilize them with better understanding?

Implications for niche topics on science and technology and AQ (who knows?):

First, never use both terms in a synonymous way as they are mean different things. Doing so only betrays your lack of intellectual command and precision over a topic and so much for claiming to 'specialize' in one! A handful of students are still swimming in the dark. Good Luck.

May this essential distinction clear the fog once and for all. It has huge implications on the way you write about or address issues and examples, henceforth.

Sample niche questions on this topic, related to just one case study above:

PYEQ (and some niche questions related to science & technology):

1. To what extent has technology had a negative impact on the skill levels of people?

2. Does the modern world place too much reliance on technology?

3. How inventions and discoveries are used is not the concern of the scientist.’  Do you agree?

4. Does modern technology always improve the quality of people’s lives?
