
These pieces argue how laws and constitutions can shape public perceptions towards a various groups of minorities in Singapore. It also issues a challenge to some of these entrenched social norms and statutes, arguing for an alternative and perhaps more realistic angle to openly discuss tensions so as to recognizing the rights and aspirations shared by fellow Singaporeans.
Of course, these are ideals shared by many do they fully reflect challenges on the ground?
On a technical note, it might be fun to detect the many occasions where AQ tone & strategies were used to advance the writer's take on issues.
